said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad" "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "you must be,"said the Cat,"or you wouldn't have come here."

Not so glamorous, but still fun, working in the quarry in search of Cambrian fossils
Gardening makes me happy and living in the Adelaide Hills is very much a privilege. Here are some garden pics......
"The view from the office" dig site on Kangaroo Island South Australia
This is the life, and I mean it !
The Natural World, Art, Science, History, Literature (big fan of Alice in Wonderland as you can tell), so many things inspire and interest me.
Curious and eclectic sums it up.
I have worked as a teacher, and a sculptor, in ceramics and in manufacturing, in research and retail, I now paint and use digital technologies to create.
I live in the Adelaide Hills and it is my sanctuary.
Palaeontology is a passion of recent time, fed by a life long interest in the distant past. As a volunteer at the South Australian Museum I get to go on 2 digs a year to excavate Cambrian fossils, 500 million years old, on Kangaroo Island.
(Kangaroo Island is a passion too, I have a small beach place there.)
All in all its an interesting life.......
here's a nice example of Redlichia takooensis
